I was just wondering, is there going to be a Mac version of FF 14? it’ll awesome if there is.

I have not seen any information leading me to think that there is, or will be, a Mac version. I have seen some communities refer to a future possibility of inclusion within the Steam service. However, it entirely speculation and not likely at this time, if at all.

From these system requirements, FF 14 is going to end up being the next AoC. If you have a new gamer computer you will be able to play it, otherwise you will need a PS3. This is going to greatly reduce the number of potential players and KILLS FF chance of being a WoW killer.

uhhh you can buy a 9800 nvidia card for like 100 bucks and play it just fine..if your computer doesnt have at least a dual core and a half way decent graphics card why would you even bother looking at this game . looks like you will be playing pong

icr well the reason someone would be looking at this game is obviously a love of FF but exactly like dann was getting at.. any new mmo that wants to compete with WoW needs to be able to run on lesser machines as well, i understand you want a game with the best graphics and able to blow your mind when you see the landscape and the effects and everything a new age game needs but just like FFxi or WoW have it also capable of being run on lower machices because well not all of us live at home with our parents or are so comfortably living that we can drop the $1000 it would take to get even a mediocre machine that can be upgraded to run the newer games, and no it looks like ppl will be turning to WoW as a replacement for there money not pong.. because blizz was wise and that game will run on anything with a cpu in it.

If your mom didn’t buy all of your things then you would understand why a 100$ upgrade is expensive and why purchasing a good pc is expensive.
